Sony Unveils Super Slim PlayStation 3 but More Expensive

Sony has taken the wraps off its slimmer version of its gaming console, the PlayStation 3 at the Tokyo Game Show Wednesday, which is 20% smaller and 25% lighter than the current slim model, reducing it in size but increasing its price tag in the United States.

It will available in two versions: black and white, with either 250GB or 500GB of storage memory. All the pricing details have not yet been announced, but a limited edition bundle, featuring the 250GB black PS3. But The Verge summarizes the somewhat confusing international launch dates and prices:
In North America the 250GB console will be available September 25th and be priced at $269. The 500GB version will be available on October 30th for $299. In PAL territories there will be a PlayStation 3 with 12GB of flash memory available on October 12th for 229 Euros. The 500GB console will be available for the same price on September 28th. In Japan the 250GB will sell for 24,900 Yen and the 500GB will sell for 29,800 Yen, both available October 4th.
Sony also said that its “PS Plus” premium online service will be coming to PlayStation Vita in November. Sony does seem to realize that they’ve essentially saturated the market with PlayStation 3 consoles. They’re targeting the few individuals that don’t already have a PS3 as well as the select few that desperately want an extra PlayStation 3, yet were held back by its ungainly weight.
Was the weight or size the sticking point for those who haven’t picked up a PlayStation 3 yet. We’re not convinced, especially as many gamers are gearing up for the next generation of consoles.

iPhone 5 vs Samsung Galaxy S3 – Which is better buy?

The iPhone 5 has been revealed. with a larger screen, a faster processor and a slightly-improved camera. But the real question is – which one should you buy, the iPhone 5 or the Samsung Galaxy S3? The war has started between iPhone 5 vs Samsung Galaxy S3.
We have tried to tabulated some specifications of iPhone 5 vs Samsung Galaxy S3. Which lets you know which one is a better buy.

iPhone 5 vs Samsung Galaxy S3 Comparison :-

Whether you love the iPhone 5 or not, it’s probably going to sell in its millions and have fanboys queuing outside Apple Stores across the world. Just after the pre order started more than 2 millions Apple fans booked this sexy gadget in just 24 hour.

Author Opinion :

If I have to comment on iPhone 5 vs Samsung Galaxy S3, I found the iPhone 5 is a reliable. Solid, strong, beautiful design, LTE speeds, and a proven camera that just gets better and better meets iTunes and app store robustness and the new iOS with turn-by-turn voice navigation and 3D flyovers. It lacks NFC, yes, but the hardware feature isn’t yet ubiquitous; the majority of casual users won’t notice, or even register, its absence.
The Samsung Galaxy S3 has a ton of really neat, innovative new features, but it also has far more trip-ups, which make for a less smooth experience overall. We still love the Galaxy S3, but the rich, highly customizable Android 4.0 interface is too much for some users, and many of Samsung’s innovations, especially in content-sharing, are more complicated to use and not very universal.
If you’re an Apple enthusiast you just will not be happy with the S3 so you might as well purchase the iPhone 5. The iPhone 5 starts at $199 for the 16GB model and the Galaxy S3 is priced as cheap as $99 at retailers such as Amazon. This purchase should solely be based on the preference of the customer since both phones are equal in many ways.
