Step 1: Download SP Flash Tool and extract it on desktop.

Step 2: Download MT6589_Android_scatter_emmc.txt and ClockWorkMod Recovery.

Step 3: Open “Flash_Tool.exe” from the extracted folder.

Step 4: Now, you have to select the file to install CWM Recovery on Micromax A116 Canvas HD as per below:

• Click on “Scatter-loading” button and choose “MT6589_Android_scatter_emmc.txt“

Step 5: As you will select the above file, many entries will be loaded. Make sure you untick all the entries except “recovery“.
