How To Root Samsung Galaxy Note II on Jelly Bean 4.1.2 with CF-Auto-Root

• Download and install sufficient drivers for your Note II. Failure to this may result into great hesitation (Kidding). You can either install Samsung Kies or get the files from 3rd party websites. Kies is preferred (You can get from your driver CD itself)
• Download the Root Package from HERE
• Download and install Odin Tool from HERE
• Now you need to enter your device into Download Mode. For this, press and hold Volume Down, Power and Home buttons simultaneously.
• You will see a scary logo then, don’t be feared. Connect your Phablet to the PC.
• In Odin tool, the ID:COM section will either turn into yellow or blue after successful device detection. If not, try re-installing the drivers. Never ever go ahead without the detection.
• From Odin now select “PDA” and load the root file you have just downloaded before in 2nd step.
• Hold on and click “Start“ button. Wait until it transfers the whole file and have a cup of coffee. It takes time.
• Once it’s finished, the Odin tool will display a pass message, indicates you’re awesome. Done.

Now unplug Note II and wait for the reboot. Haven’t you got the screen? Yeah, it’s been over. You have successfully rooted your Galaxy Note II and it’s time for fun. Check if Super SU app has added to your menu . Alternatively, you can install Root Checker App to confirm root.

In case you struck at the boot screen for a long time, press and hold Power, Volume Up and Home buttons together and enter into Recovery Mode . Then wipe all cache and reboot ( ie., wipe data factory reset” and “wipe cache partition). Also in case of Odin error, just restart the whole process and re-install the phablet drivers. It will be alright.
