Micromax unveiled the Canvas 4 A210, the company’s flagship smartphone at an event in Delhi earlier this week. We unboxed the device earlier this week, here we have the benchmarks of the device. It is powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core MediaTek 6589 processor with Power VR SGX544 MP2 GPU similar to the A116 Canvas HD .
It comes with a 5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD display at 295 PPI pixel density. It runs on Android 4.2.1 (Jelly Bean). Let’s see how the phone stands up in these synthetic benchmarks.

In the AnTuTu Benchmark 3.3, the Canvas 4 grabs the 3rd spot.

The Micromax A210 grabs the second spot with 1471 in the Vellamo 2 HTML5 browser benchmark.

The Canvas 4 grabs the second spot again with over 450 points in the Vellamo 2 CPU subsystem performance test.

Even though the A210 lies in the bottom in the Linpack single thread benchmark, it scores around 116 points in the Linpack multi-thread benchmark.

The Canvas 4 tops the Nenamark 2 GPU benchmark.
GFXBenchmark 2.7 T-Rex (On screen)
It clocks 4.9 fps almost similar to the other phones with a HD screen and a similar GPU.
GFXBenchmark 2.5 Egypt HD (On screen)
The Canvas 4 A210 clocks 14 fps in the GFXBench 2.5 Egypt GPU benchmark, similar to other quad-core smartphones.
Basemark X HD (Onscreen)

The A210 is slightly better than the A116 in the Basemark X OnSscreen and OffScreen benchmarks.
