Motorola Droid Mini comes with a 4.3inch of screen size. The display seems to be an edge to edge display in its frame. It comes with a resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels with 342 ppi pixel density. The screen is made up of Corning Gorilla Glass for its protection against scratches. Droid Mini comes with SuperAMOLED capactive type touchscreen with 16m Colors and multi-touch support.

The Kevlar unibody glossy finish is somewhat glossy can be the downside as it tends to pick up fingerprints while you are using. Now this can really be a headache as it can make your device look really bad and full of fingerprint with nominal use also. The display quality was quite decent though can’t be termed as perfect. It is water splash repellant.

The Droid Mini measures 122.1 x 61.2 x 8.6 mm dimensionwise and weighs 140.1 gm

Processor and OS.

Motorola Droid mini comes with Motorola X8 chipset. It has got a 1.2 GHz dual core processor along with a Quad-Core GPU. The performance though could not match up to that pace which the general smartphone in that range have marked.

Talking about the os, Motorola Droid Mini comes with latest Android 44.2 JellyBean OS.

Motorola Droid Mini comes with 2GB of RAM. Now this is something not seen generally. It has got 16GB of internal memory with no support for further expanding it. I don’t know if this device really needed a 2GB of RAM. Though it doesn’t come with an expandable option, you can still enjoy this device with decent no of application and other data. However the latest trend set by the other smart phones is that almost all are expandable up to at least 32GB. So ist better to check out other option if you are planning to fill your smartphone with application consuming markable space.

Motorla Droid Mini is though not Mini in terms of its display size, but does satisfy its tag when it comes to the performance. The device feels good to hold and is okay for performing general day to day tasks, but cannot be used as extreme gadget.
