Ubuntu LockScreen – The first Android app which comes with few lock screen features to sense how the lock screen of the Ubuntu Devices may be working. However this app is still in beta phase however, I didn’t faced too many glitches using this. Though it may not work properly on your smartphone (Compatibility Issue). Once a more stable version is released, I expect it be compatible with most of the devices and with also brings many more features.
If you are a Lover of Ubuntu OS, and if you are dying to have a feel of Ubuntu on your smartphone, then this app is just for you.

Homescreen also notifies you of SMS or missed call alerts in a clean great looking, rotating circle. Many more features are coming (Quoted By App Developer). You can also configure this lock screen to enable the one touch Music Application. You can see the three music buttons in above picture. Along with that it also shows the current battery levels.
It also helps you select which app you would like to use as the default app for messaging, calling and the music, hence you will be able to access that app from the Ubuntu LockScreen. The setting options of Ubuntu LockScreen scans all the apps for each of the three options and provides a list of those app which can work like that. You just have to select your app which you would like to access for the same. Like for Music Player, it will scan and show you the list of all the app which supports music playing, you can choose any of them. The selected app will not be used for playing music from the LockScreen.
To enhance the security of Ubuntu LockScreen, you can also enable the security unlocking. The current option provided by this app is password. The only problem with this is that it does not accept less than 8 digit password and each time you unlock it, you have to type this pass to get and entry.
