Google is rolling out a massive update to the YouTube for Android which brings a whole new UI to the app along with other many other awesome features.
This is the biggest UI overhaul the app have received yet and it is definitely beautiful.
Apart from a whole new UI, the app brings a better a totally new In app multitasking feature and I promise you. It is something that you have never ever seen before.
The slide out from left navigation has been improved with better and more usable options. Now let us just summarize the new features so that you can understand the new app in a nutshell.
New Features
Whole new UI similar to Google+ app’s and Google Now’s cards interface. Oh my! Its beautiful.
In app multitasking that lets you pin a video to the bottom of the screen while you do other stuff like searching on the app.
Slide up to expand the videos and slide to the side to dismiss the video.
Slide out from the left side and you will be able to quickly access your history, watch later, favorites and playlist.
We are still missing the audio only mode that many users desperately want for sure.
The update is still being rolled out so you might not receive a notification just yet.
